bush takes it on the chin

kerry just destroyed bush in the first of the presidential debates. at first kerry seemed pretty nervous, but after a few questions you could tell something clicked and he was like "man, this is too easy". bush was on the defensive almost 100% of the time and just kept repeating himself and making goofy faces. it was better than HBO boxing.

i think kerry's back in this game and i'm glad. cause he's actually pretty cool.

a few years ago, there used to be this hilarious website called "rebel-alliance". it's been dead for over a year now, but while it was still up i made pretty good friends with one of it's writers, matt (http://www.dumbjaw.com). we found that we were alike in a very creepy way. he's the only other person i know in the world besides my dad who has sleep-paralyzation on occasion. also, we share the same favorite poet, video games, music, etc.

catholic school ultimate

the past three days, every time i drive past that catholic school on Wynn Drive, they're outside playing ultimate. not just throwing the disc around, either. 7 on the line on both sides, raising their hands before the pull, running hard, etc. i've seen kids teaching the others how to throw a flick too.

looks like we've got some competition/help coming up in a few years!

the weather continues to be fuggen-a.

i couldn't sleep last night because i couldn't breathe. then, i wake up expecting to go to class, and be excused from work... but my breathing returns after being awake for about a half hour. i gots no proof.

The Exit In is a lot like Zydeco in terms of intimacy... except with a much better view and a much better bar. and much snottier nashville/vanderbilt hipsters. i dunno what's up with all the best shows around here being on weeknights. its obvious that only the very biggest bands play on weekends around here. so maybe one or two of these (at the most) will be caught. =(
